Good Afternoon BMSS Families!

We are diving into testing season. Make sure students get enough sleep on testing nights and good amount of healthy breakfast on testing days, not too much and not too little, as they should do on a regular day. Here is the Testing Calendar. Below are this week’s announcements.

*   Third quarter report cards went out last Friday. Make sure to have a chat with your child and take necessary actions, either praise them or make a plan if improvement needed.

*   3-8 grades first FSA exam day is tomorrow, April 5th. The tests will start promptly at 8 AM. It is imperative for students to arrive by 7:50 AM. Students who arrive after 8.15AM will have to wait in the front office until testing is over.

*   Thursday, April 14th is Early Release Day. Dismissal is at 12.30.

*   BMSS STEM Day is scheduled to April 14th. Students will have an opportunity to learn from different experts and experience STEM related activities. If you would like to volunteer to do some STEM activities with kids, please let the front office know.

*   There is no school on Friday, April 15th.

*   We partner with the city of Margate. They are hosting a Community Clean-up event on Saturday, April 16th. There will be free refreshments and donuts. If you are interested to assist, please click here for details.

*   BMSS International Night has been rescheduled to May 23rd @5.30 at the Event Center, next door. If you would like to volunteer and make sure your country is represented, please contact us.

The character trait of this month is Honesty. I would like to leave you with the quote on honesty below:

“Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.” Thomas Jefferson
