Good Afternoon BMSS Families!
I hope your week has started off great. Below are your weekly updates and announcements.
* The survey is still open. The more is response is the better picture; https://forms.gle/nGWcm1ZsGnGHrwDv5
* We have some exciting news! BMSS teachers and students now have access to Clever. Clever is a single sign-on, web-based application. Students can now login to Clever to access applications such as CPALMS, Mastery Connect (used in school), iReady (coming soon) and Pinnacle (coming soon) with just one single login from Clever. No longer will students need to memorize all their different logins. Visit com/bmssclever to begin using Clever today. We are working to get more applications added to the Clever single sign-on. Your child's Clever username is their full 10-digit student ID (starts with 06). Your child's Clever password is their full birthdate in this format: P00/00/0000 (the p must be capital).
* BMSS is proud to announce that with the partnership of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, our student Game Room has been completed. We are revealing the completed game room to our teachers, staff, and students on Friday at 1:00 PM. The game room, named the Dolphin Pod, will be used as a positive space for our students to enjoy and be rewarded for good character, effort, and outstanding academics.
* Family Skate Night is taking place this Friday, February 4th. Click here for the flyer. Since this is a fundraiser event, your participation to support BMSS is appreciated!
* Monday, February 14th is Early Release Day. The dismissal starts at 12.30.
* There is no school on Tuesday, February 21st.
* Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 22nd, @6pm for Black History Month Celebration at the Event Center, next door.
* As part of our preparation and staffing, we would like you to let us know if your child will be returning next school year. Please complete this SURVEY by February 25th.
* Students need to make sure they bring their own mask if they choose to wear mask.
* Attending school every day and being on time are two crucial steps to avoid any interruption in your child’s learning progress.
I would like to leave you with the quote on leadership below:
“Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined by results not attributes.” —Peter Drucker
Have a wonderful week Dolphins!
