BMSS is providing various study resources for our students. Please utilize these resources in cooperation with your student's teacher.
All online resources below works with the same log in information that is used for BMSSconnect. Your BMSSconnect username and password has been sent home on the letter version of this page. If you still have trouble finding your login information please call the school for help.
BMSS Connect is an online student management system. BMSS uses this site in order for parents to be able to track their students' assignments, grades, behavioral logs and resources.
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
i-Ready Diagnostic: i-Ready starts with a test that determines every student’s academic skills in math and reading. This test is adaptive, which means that the level of difficulty will change as your child answers each question. i-Ready Instruction: i-Ready provides students digital instruction that meets them where they are–at their level. The lessons include three parts, consisting of a tutorial, guided practice, and a graded activity.
AR is a computer program that helps teachers and librarians manage and monitor children's independent reading practice. Your child picks a book at his reading level and reads it at his own pace. When finished, your child takes a short quiz on the computer. (Passing the quiz is an indication that your child understood what was read). AR gives children and teachers feedback based on the quiz results, which the teacher then uses to help your child set goals and direct ongoing reading practice.
